Jason Brown began taking skating lessons at age 3. Eight years later he won the U.S. juvenile title. His career continued to rocket with him winning major awards every year. Having had to overcome a back injury and withdrawing from the 2016 U.S. Championships as a result, Jason is familiar with the idea of getting up. He recently proved his resilience in the face of physical setbacks by winning a gold at the 2016 U.S. International Classic in Salt Lake City. Jason, a student at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, plays the piano and enjoys making music and dance videos with his family and friends. Jason and his coach Kori Ade have been working together for 15 years, nearly all of his career.
