Skating Experience: 15 years
Hometown: Scottsdale, AZ
Discipline: Men

Max’s skating career really began with hockey at age 4. When he was 9, he also took up figure skating to improve his skating skills, but his main focus was hockey. He reached an elite level and was named to the U.S. U14 Developmental hockey team at the age 14. Max competed in both hockey and figure skating until he was 18, when he suffered a fractured back. He was in a full body cast for months and was forced to stay off the ice for a year. When he returned, he decided to focus solely on figure skating. His decision turned out to be a great one, as he has been winning medals ever since. Aaron is known for his extraordinary jumping ability and constantly works on improving his skating skills and artistry. Skating runs in Max’s family – both of his sisters, Madeline and Molly, have competed for Team USA in the pairs discipline.
