Zachary first stepped onto the ice at 11, starting later than most of his competitors. Still, he fell in love with the sport from his first glide and started to pursue a competitive career in ice dance in a very deep U.S. field. He won the junior bronze medal in 2009 and 2010 with former partner Piper Gilles before teaming up with Madison Hubbell in 2011. The Montreal-based duo made it known that they were not going to the 2018 U.S. Championships to win another bronze medal, after finishing third four times previously. Making good on their word, Madison and Zachary won their first U.S. title in San Jose en route to their first Olympic berth.
(Achieved with Madison Hubbell)
*2018 U.S. champions
*2014 Four Continents champions
*Four-time U.S. bronze medalists (2012, 2015-17)
